Peters Township: Be on time or no graduation ceremony for you
About 50 Peters Township students may not participate in graduation exercises Friday unless they participate in a make-up practice. They weren't on time for the regular practice. Peters Township says being on time is important.

Let's get to the point. Yes they might have been late. Yes they may have been told several times what time to be there. But we were all seniors once. I think that the principal is a power hungry ego maniac and that he uses his power to belittle others. I understand that there were a few students who had valid excuses for being late. Didn't matter to the "door man". I sure hope that those adults who are in power never arrive late to work....
I agree with anon's comments about "power hungry ego maniacs." My son nearly missed an honor given by the County commissioners since his administration insisted he not miss a part of the practice for the ceremony. I mean seriously he was an honor student, I'm sure he could have figured out where to walk and sit without too much difficulty!
They were late, and can make it up. What's the big deal?
I guess Peters can just buy out another contract over pettiness with an administrator.
The door man was at the gym. These children were in the building and told to leave for the rest of the day because they arrived at the gym doors at 8:02. Ego maniac fits the bill.
The only big deal is some of them, under 18, were told to leave the school and go home. No transportation, no parental notification until hours later. Quite a strange procedure for a tardy.
Otherwise, agreed. No big deal. They make it up!
It's hard to believe that whoever is being accused would be such a 'stickler' over being two minutes late, yet somehow were able to escape the hurdles the previous four years.
Just sounds like more entitled parents whining.
