Should Carroll Middle School students be sent to Finley Middle School?
The Ringgold School Board held a public hearing Monday night to consider whether to close Carroll Middle and send those students to Finley while the district prepares to build a new middle school for all students.
Parents peppered the board with questions about transportation, class size and other education issues.

I've commented on this before. WAIT until the new middle school is completed before transferring ANY students. That is such a no-brainer, the school board shouldn't need a public meeting to decide. And build the new middle school as part of a district school complex, not in the middle of nowhere. A caveat: the only think that would change my mind is if the existing school(s) are hazardous to the students.
